From newbuild weld inspection and tank testing to in-service corrosion mapping and material verification, our technicians work to project ITPs and recognised international codes, providing clear, traceable reports that stand up to class, client and third-party review — on site, in the yard or offshore.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Wall thickness gauging, weld volumetric inspection and corrosion mapping of hull plating, piping and pressure equipment.

Phased Array UT (PAUT)
High-resolution encoded imaging of welds and complex geometries, with repeatable flaw sizing and full data recording.

Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD)
Fast, accurate flaw detection and through-wall sizing for long weld seams, pressure vessels and pipelines.

Radiographic Testing (RT)
Conventional film, computed and digital radiography for internal weld and casting defects, including interpretation and reporting.

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Detection of surface and near-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic welds, castings, shafts and lifting gear.

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
Surface-breaking defect detection on stainless steel, aluminium and other non-ferromagnetic components.

Eddy Current Testing (ET)
Rapid surface crack detection, weld inspection through coatings and heat exchanger tube examination.

ACFM
Alternating Current Field Measurement for crack detection and sizing through paint and coatings, including offshore structures and nodes.

Positive Material Identification
On-site XRF and OES alloy verification confirming material grades against specification and preventing material mix-ups.

Hardness Testing
Portable UCI and Leeb hardness testing for weld procedure qualification, PWHT verification and in-service material checks.
11.
Vacuum Box & Leak Testing
Vacuum box testing of tank boundaries and welded seams, plus pressure and leak tightness verification of compartments and piping.
12.
Visual Testing (VT)
Direct and remote visual weld inspection, dimensional weld gauge checks, coating and structural condition assessment with full reporting.
Standards & Codes
Inspection and testing is carried out, documented and reported against the codes and standards applicable to each project — including ISO 9712 and ASNT SNT-TC-1A for personnel qualification frameworks, ISO and EN methodology standards for each NDT technique, ASME BPVC Sections V, VIII and IX, AWS D1.1, and IACS member class rules for marine and offshore work.
Scope, acceptance criteria, technique sheets and hold points are agreed with the client and class before mobilisation, and every examination is issued with a traceable report referencing the equipment, calibration blocks, technique and acceptance standard used.
